OUR DEBUTANTE JESSELE JAYME GRUEZO-OBINA

Jessele Jayme (Jzl, in short), was born to doting parents Jet Jet Gruezo and James Obina on December 22, 1991 at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago. Characterized with s distinctive powerful voice when she was born (waking up all the babies in the  nursery when she cried), these days she can belt out Whitney Houston songs--and she also excels in arts, composes songs, and writes poetry.

Jet is in her senior year in high school at Northside College Prep, one of the top and foremost high schools nationwide,  according to U.S. World and Newsweek magazines. She is a Varsity Captain of the LaCross team, and she also plays basketball. She serves as the Public Relations Officer for Asian Club and the Key Club -- the club that provides the highest volunteer services for the community.

Here’s what Mom Jet had to say about Jzl during her birthday celebration...”She turned out to be a strong, focused, and independent girl--a beautiful person inside and out.  Jzl has filled our lives (mine, James and Jillian Jett)  with so much joy and happiness that are immeasurable.  We are here today to tell you that we love you and we wish you every happiness in everything you do in life.”
