The Time that we MissedWhat's in my Heart?
We have a lot of memories playing in our minds,
The good and the bad, the glad and the sad;
We tend to ignore the good part of it, until
We feel the time that we missed.
In our hearts we regret the time that we missed;
We take for granted the good acts that can be spared
We think everything is fine and nothing is wrong,
Of just letting the time pass on.
The moments of silence is important for us
To ponder and wonder, on why such things happened?
Then you realized that in your solitude, you know
That the time you missed, is the time you " m-i-s-s-e-d"
I do not want to linger on my heartaches,
In my heart I need to compose myself
I know time will come, for my inner healing
The time that we missed in this midst of grief.
I will miss the memories of my beloved mother,
I will treasure every moment of her love and care,
I will pray as I have promised, unceasingly for her
And I will wait for the time of her seeing our Creator.
LORD GOD, Almighty, I lift up to you our mother
That You may soon welcome her in Your Kingdom
The Eternal Heaven, where she would have a lasting
Peace in her heart, and we know that the time we missed
Is the time she wished, " To Be With You Forever".
On Valentine's Day, let us ponder on the memories of our loved ones who had gone ahead of us.
THE WOUNDED LAMB
I am a wounded lamb roaming in the farm.
I am searching for someone, because
I am badly harmed;
I need to be lifted up, for I couldn't walk,
I am a wounded lamb away from my folks.
As I walk along the road,
I met a Gentleman who stopped for my sake
He touched my wound and looked up the sky
He seemed to have been talking to
Someone up high.
I hope you by now you understand this fable
A fable that is compared to a parable;
The wounded lamb is a symbol of people
The fallen one, the hurting being and
the forgiven soul.
The Gentleman is our LORD JESUS
Who acknowledges mankind's weaknesses,
He saves souls and He forgives many times,
And our Almighty GOD sent him for us.
I am a wounded lamb that needs mercy
I found my Shepherd-Savior and healed me
I am a wounded lamb with a humble heart
Rescued by a Wounded Healer, the Best
Healer of Mankind.
